Severe Weather
As we head into spring, remember that the chances of thunderstorms and tornadoes increases. During severe weather high winds may blow down trees that can in turn land on power lines. Please do not attempt to remove trees that are in contact with power lines - always call 911 to report the emergency!

Gowensville Fire Department is located in Northeastern Greenville County and serves both Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. The district covers approximately 40 miles and is rated as an ISO 5/9. It is a combination department with 26 dedicated members providing protection to all of its citizens.
